Para el año 2000 había mas de noventa mil (90.000) médicos por todo el mundo dispuestos a atender sin sangre.

Por todo el mundo hay mas de 1400 Comités de Enlace que pueden proporcionar a los médicos e investigadores información médica de una base de datos que abarca más de tres mil artículos referentes a las técnicas médicas y quirúrgicas sin sangre. Como señala el doctor Charles Baron, profesor de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Boston:

“gracias a la actuación de los Comités de Enlace con los Hospitales de los Testigos, hoy es menos probable que cualquier paciente, sea o no testigo de Jehová, reciba una transfusión innecesaria”.
